For local club kids, racing practice is every second Saturday* of the month from August through March (*with some dates requiring alteration based on scheduling). Parents or guardians can get practice being pit crew members during this time, too!
The North Florida Soap Box Derby club hosts the North Florida Soap Box Derby Local Stock Race annually. Club kids and surrounding clubs are invited to participate. There is NO FEE to enter this race. Parents or guardians should expect to be part of their child’s pit crew and assist alongside volunteers.
THIS YEARS RACE WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 12, 2025, at Canopy Oak Elementary School (3250 Point View Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32303)
Winners of the Annual Race have the opportunity to represent all of North Florida in the Annual International Soap Box Derby held every year in July at Akron, Ohio.
